360° LEARNING EXPERIENCE
Our carefully tailored approach combines a strong foundation of theories, as well as avenues to apply these theories into practical settings, to maximize students' learning experience.

EXTENSIVE EXPOSURE:

SABD provides beyond classroom teaching experience. Students undertake educational visits both locally and abroad, including: field trips, activity week, technical visits, site visits and more.

SABD believes that research goes hand-in-hand with teaching and learning, as it provides a more solid foundation and robust education of the subject matter. The school is supported by the Centre for Modern Architecture Studies in Southeast Asia, jointly established in 2005 by Taylor’s University and KALAM of University Teknology Malaysia. It aims to foster interest and promote studies in the ideas and heritage of modern architecture, through documentation of intellectual and physical heritage of modern architecture in the region.
STUDENT TESTIMONIALS
BONG CHAN FAN

"One of the most interesting activities is site analysis projects whereby we get to visit certain sites that are rich in culture."
SARAH AHMAD
Bachelor of Science (Hons) (Architecture)

"I personally love to learn from experience instead of traditional academic approaches.

Activity Week gives us the opportunity to travel overseas. Being exposed to different designs, buildings and artwork is truly inspirational!"
GLEN JONATHAN MUGA
Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Hons)

"The reason I chose to study Quantity Surveying (QS) at Taylor's is because of its accreditations with BQSM, RICS and PAQS. This is certainly beneficial to us as QS graduates because it increases our chances in securing a job upon graduation."
