KPT/JPS (R/581/6/0023) (A8552) 02/18
This Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Architecture programme is a pre-professional course that is accredited by Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) which exempts graduates from the LAM Part 1 Professional Examination.

Students will learn from highly qualified academicians who are practicing architects with research experience about in-depth knowledge and understanding of the application of structure, materials, technologies and systems that will impact the field of architecture, through modules such as Building Materials, Building Construction and Building Technology. Students will also be able to select from a wide range of elective modules in specialised areas of expertise and research interest of the academicians.

This degree programme also includes lecture series, external design reviews, field trips, site visits and an opportunity to participate in Activity Week, an international study trip. Students also gain valuable exposure via a dynamic internship (practicum):
  • 8-week fieldwork in Year 1 requires students to document historical and architectural buildings, through a set of measured drawings and a report.
  • 8-week internship in Year 2 exposes students to the real-life working environment and enables them to work within a building team.
