The Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Hons) programme exposes students to the latest developments in the field of medicine, health sciences and biomedical science research.

Students from our biomedical science degree programme will have the opportunity to explore a number of essential topics including anatomy, biochemistry, clinical chemistry, genetics, immunology, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology, physiology and legal, social and ethical issues. They will also be equipped with skills in research methodology and laboratory management.
 
3 ½-YEAR PROGRAMME

Specialisation Options
  • Opportunity for students to explore their passion through specialisation in one of five areas, namely Drug Discovery & Development, Microbiology, Human Nutrition, Entrepreneurship or Communication.

Strong Background in Research and Development
  • Opportunity to undertake research projects on topics such as infectious diseases, novel drugs and drug target interactions, human genetics and immunology.
  • Guidance from experts who are specialists in their respective research clusters.
  • Develop skilled graduates who can contribute actively to R&D efforts in the biomedical science industry.

Dynamic Internship Programme
  • 4-6 months industrial attachment to develop practical and relevant skills for future employment.
