Dr Kyra is a lecturer in School of Management and Marketing, Faculty of Business and Law in Taylor’s University.
Dr. Kyra has a Master of Management and Bachelor of Business (Marketing), both from Swinburne University, Australia and PhD (Entrepreneurship) from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). Her years of experience in teaching have exposed her in other fields such as research and publication. She supervises both the Final Year Project (FYP) and Entrepreneurship Accelerator Project (EAP).
Dr. Kyra currently handles the collaboration and partnership with the Nescafe Youth Entrepreneurship Programme in the module Entrepreneurship and Small Business (ESB) which she is module leads. This collaboration is an experiential learning experience to all the students to run a Nescafe pop up café as a stand-alone business. Kyra also module leads the EAP which is part of the multidisciplinary projects in the university. Multidisciplinary projects are teamwork with other schools and faculties in the university which allow students to experience a different yet unique learning.
With a rich global exposure spanning six countries, Dr. Feranita brings a wealth of experience, agility, and cultural intelligence to the team.
Adept at working in an ambiguous environment and diverse teams, her mastery in English, Mandarin and Indonesian ensures smooth communication in various contexts. Feranita adopts an innovative, structured, and analytical approach to solving today's business problems, based on insights derived from her academic research background. Feranita holds a PhD in Management (UK) with a research interest in family business and entrepreneurship, an MBA degree (Singapore), and a Master of Research degree (Spain). She is also a Certified Professional Coach who coaches business families and entrepreneurial startups.
Dr Lin Woon Leong is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Law, Taylor’s University.
Since completing his Ph.D. from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and his MBA from East Anglia University, UK, Lin’s research focus has been in the areas of corporate political strategy, business ethics, and corporate social responsibility. Within ethics, he explores factors influencing business and organizational ethics, and ethical behavior. His other key research area in corporate social responsibility focuses on green environmental practices and its relationship to organizational practices and performance.
He has published more than 21 articles in refereed journals, including journals indexed by Thomson Web of Science (SSCI) and Scopus. His publications include Business Strategy and Environment, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, The North American Economics and Finance, Sustainability, International Journal of Economics and Management, International Financial Study, Industrial Marketing Management, Administrative Sciences, Journal of Cleaner Production, Geojournal, and Environmental Science and Pollution Research.
Manmeet Kaur is a Lecturer at the School of Management and Marketing, Faculty of Business and Law of Taylor’s University.
She is the Program Director for Bachelors in Entrepreneurship (Team Entrepreneurship) Hons. Manmeet Kaur has been in the academia for the past ten years, teaching subjects such as Business Enterprise, Transnational Management and Understanding Entrepreneurialism as well as supervising entrepreneurial projects. She is currently pursuing her PhD, where her doctoral research is focused on entrepreneurial teams. She is also a Certified Professional Coach and a member at the Malaysian Institute of Management
Dr Jesrina Ann Xavier is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Law of Taylor’s University, Malaysia.
Currently, she is also the Programme Director of the International Business and Marketing at the School of Management and Marketing. Dr Jesrina Ann Xavier has been in the academia for the past ten years, teaching subjects such as International Business, Strategic Management, Venture Creation and Design Thinking. Dr Jesrina Ann Xavier completed her PhD in University of Malaya, in the area of Entrepreneurship Development. Her research is focused in the area of ethnic, women and social entrepreneurship. She is currently leading a four years grant project titled; Succession Planning & Generational Change: An Analysis of Ageing Entrepreneurs in Malaysia. Besides that, she is presently supervising four PhD candidates, in the area of entrepreneurship development. Dr Jesrina Ann Xavier is also a member at the Malaysian Institute of Management and a Certified Professional Coach.
