Taylor's Future Movement x Sneakerlah Shoe Customization Competition

Check out the steps below on how you can participate in the competition!

  1. Step 1: Download the Nike Air Force 1 design template from here.

  2. Step 2: Design your own original custom Nike Air Force 1 shoe based on your creativity.

  3. Step 3: Submit your design in hardcopy & softcopy to Taylor’s University Marcomm (Syafiq) at Level 3, Block A, Taylor’s Lakeside Campus or before Monday,17thFebruary.

  4. Step 4: Top 10 selected designs will be announced on the Taylor’s University Instagram page ( on Thursday, 27th February.

  5. Step 5: The selected designs will be entitled to join an exclusive sneaker customisation workshop with Edmond Looi during Taylor’s Future Movement x Sneakerlah on Saturday, 7th March 2020. 

  6. The live shoe customisation workshop will be featured in the Taylor’s Future Movement x Sneakerlah promo video.


  1. Contest opens to all Taylor’s University and Taylor’s College students currently enrolled.

  2. Over the age of 18 and able to legally enter a contract on these Competition Terms.

  3. For students below 18 years old, parental/guardian consent are required to participate.

  4. Each student is entitled to 1 design submission only.

  5. Design Entry must not include inappropriate language or material, gratuitous violence, sexual references or statements or material that, in Taylor’s opinion, promote hatred towards an individual, race, or community or which are offensive, illegal, inflammatory, obscene, unsuitable for minors, abusive, indecent, threatening, or otherwise unlawful.

  6. By submitting an Entry, each Student warrants that:

    • all details provided with the Student's Entry are true and accurate;
    • the Student's Entry, and the Design submitted as part of that Entry, is wholly comprised of original work, created and owned by the Student, and has not previously been communicated to the public;
    • the Inspiration includes all ideas and materials that inspired the Design;
    • the Student's Entry does not contain commercial words, art, photographs or images;
    • the Student's Entry does not contain any identifiable existing product or existing product logo;
    • the Student has all necessary rights and licenses to grant the rights set out in these Competition Terms;
    • the exercise of the rights granted to Taylor’s in these Competition Terms will not infringe the rights of any third parties; and
    • the Student will indemnify Taylor’s  against any loss of damage resulting from any breach of these warranties.
  7. In the event of any non-compliance with clauses 3, 4 and 5, Taylor’s may, in its discretion, determine that the Student's Entry is not valid and is excluded from the Competition. 

  8. All submissions to be made before 17th February 2020

  9. A pair of White Nike Air Force 1 shoe will be provided to the top 10 winners to participate in Taylor’s Future Movement x Sneakerlah workshop on 7th March 2020

  10. Actual Shoe design will be the intellectual property of the student however the Student agrees to give Taylor’s worldwide, royalty free license to use the IP Shoe design for marketing promotion purposes and has no limitation in Digital, ATL and BTL campaigns ads. 

  11. Student can participate in bidding/selling/swapping the shoe they design during Taylor’s Future Movement x Sneakerlah event on 7th & 8th March 2020

  12. There are no charges to the winner to participate in the customisation workshop, which includes a pair of white Nike Air Force 1 shoe

  13. The winning prize for the competition is to participate in the customisation workshop during Taylor’s Future Movement in 7th March 2020

  14. Winners will be selected by panels of jury from Taylor’s Future Movement x Sneakerlah committee

  15. To the full extent permitted by law, Taylor’s, its affiliates, representatives, agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate Students or Institutions, or accept any liability for:

    • any incorrect or inaccurate information;
    • any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this Competition;
    • any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, loss or delay of any Entry or otherwise in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of a Student's Entry or the running of the Competition; or
    • any injury, damages, expenses, cost, liability or loss whatsoever (whether direct, indirect or consequential) to Students or their respective property as a result of any person entering into the Competition or accepting or using any Prize, including without limitation non-receipt or damage to any Prize.
  16. All decisions by the jury are final and cannot be challenged by participants  


  1. Taylor’s collects, holds and processes personal information about Students to include Students in the Competition, administer the Competition, to award prizes (where applicable) and to hold and display in Digital, ATL and BTL campaigns ads (where they may be shared with third parties).

  2. Students agree that Taylor’s may, in the event they become a Finalist or Winner, publish or cause to be published their personal information, name, photograph or likeness and locality in any media globally, without compensation. Winners must participate in publicity calls and marketing as requested by Taylor’s during the Competition and up to 18 months after selection of the Winners.
