The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a lot of sudden changes to people's lifestyle. Educational institutions, including Taylor's University, are no exception to these changes. During this period of time, academicians are converting their lessons into an online-based learning in order to ensure that their students’ learning continues. Various online teaching and learning platforms are used to sustain student-directed and life-long learning.
Take for instance Dr Hanim who uses Google classroom. This is an efficient way, not only for lecturers but also students, to track their progress, marks, and grades. Besides that, any opinions from the students will be posted in the Google classroom, giving them the opportunity to express their opinions virtually.
More importantly, Dr. Hanim also recordes his entire lesson and shares it with his students so that they would be able to view the session once again in their own time, clearing any doubts and obtain better understanding. A recording on explaining the tutorial questions were also given to the students to guide them in answering their tutorial questions.
