The '2020 APEC CoE Training on Global Supply Chain Integrity of Medical Products' is organised by the Taylors University APEC-LSIF Center of Excellence (COE), the first APEC-COE in Malaysia and first in Asia for Supply Chain Security.
The APEC-COE of the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) is a US-based organisation that is globally recognised for the development and provision of standards for pharmaceuticals. We are proud to be associated in providing this training with APEC-COE of the United States Pharmacopeia (USP), that is readily recognised in the pharmaceutical industry, regulators, and WHO.
Even in normal times, pharmaceutical products are highly vulnerable to disruption in their supply chain due to factors such as failure to adhere to good practices by the industry and attempts by unscrupulous businessmen and criminals who penetrate the supply chain with counterfeits and adulterated medicines. It takes on even more importance in times like these where the pandemic has created difficulties for the entire manufacturing and distribution operations.
These series of webinars will highlight the challenges and issues that the industry faces and focus on how the integrity of the supply chain of medical products can be preserved.
The speakers at these events are experts in their area and their insight and experience will be beneficial to the industry.
