In light of the pandemic situation, e-Learning Academy (eLA), Centre For Future Learning has received numerous requests from Taylor’s academics on how to continue learning and teaching during temporary campus shutdown. Professional learning technology, learning design, and instructional design support are highly sought-after in preparing conducive and effective online materials that support students-instructor engagement. Academics are recommended to utilize the tools provided in TIMeS such as ReWIND videos, assignment, forum, quizzes, and H5P videos, among many others.
Fortunately, with the existence of the lecture recording system (a.k.a ReWIND-On-The-Go), a user-friendly tool that can be easily adopted by every faculty member, Taylor’s academics can continue to produce their own lecture videos while working from home. This is surely a worthwhile time investment as the online materials created can be reused and further enhanced by the academics in the subsequent semesters.
