Our Bachelor of Information Technology programme offers a unique combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice, equipping students with the skills needed to effectively manage an organisation's information technology infrastructure and meet the evolving needs of users.

 

Throughout this programme, you will gain a solid foundation in the theories and principles of information technology. Pass SPM//O-level or equivalent with 5 credits (including Mathematics) for entry with pre-university/ foundation qualification (Except for UEC).

 

Candidates with a pass in Mathematics at SPM level need to take and pass the reinforcement Mathematics subject that is equivalent to the SPM level. The reinforcement Mathematics subject must be offered in first semester or before enrolment with unconditional offer.

Pass SPM/O-level or equivalent with 3 credits (including Mathematics) for entry with Diploma qualification.

 

Diploma in Computing fields (Level 4, MQF) or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50. Candidates with a CGPA below 2.50 but more than 2.00 may be admitted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment

 

Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in Non-Computing with a minimum CGPA of 2.75. Candidates with a CGPA below 2.75 but more than 2.50 can be admitted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment;

Note

  • Candidates without a credit in mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the STPM (Pre-U) / Matriculation / Foundation Diploma in Computer Science or Software Engineering or Information Technology or Information System or Science and Technology or Business Studies programme contains subjects in mathematics that are equivalent or higher to mathematics at SPM level.
