In a rapidly evolving world, a sustainable future must be envisioned and insured via responsible energy planning and development globally. Various efforts have progressively taken place in preparing citizens of the world to brace the future that is both exciting and uncertain. The need for sustainable technological advances is now more revolutionary than ever and will shape the course of our lives well into the future. The prospect of an electric future is exciting therefore Mercedes-Benz in conjunction with Petrosains through our series of programme, will enlighten the younger generations about the necessity of a sustainable future and how we can accomplish it.

ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

The Sustainable Mobility for Tomorrow Program module will kick off with a sharing session by panel of experts and followed by Petrosains e-Design Thinking Process (PeDTP). The students then are required to produce a lean/tangible prototype of the Sustainable Mobility for Tomorrow.

 

The Design Thinking Challenge programme is co-sponsored by Mercedes, a luxury automotive manufacturer from Germany that will carry the topic of 'The Sustainable Electric Mobility For Tomorrow’. The program will take place in February 2022. This program is conducted together with University Teknologi Petronas , JPN WP Kuala Lumpur , JPN WP Putrajaya, and JPN Selangor.

Participant's Deliverables

 

Participants will be required to participate in the design thinking challenge inside the PeTP online course. In the Petrosains eDesign Thinking Process (PeDTP) online course, participants will be expected to do the following:

  • Identify the pain points of the users in the design challenge
  • Ideate and prototype the solution that will help create delightful experience for the targeted users.
  • 2-min video pitch to be submitted in the PeDTP online course
  • Elevator-pitch the solution to the panel of judges by submitting videos together with a pitch deck before the deadline.
  • PowerPoint Slide and Live presentation if shortlisted and present to judges
