The KapitalX3 Junior VC Talent Programme is an innovative two-month curriculum co-organised by Penjana Kapital and Taylor's University. This programme is specifically designed to cultivate the next generation of venture capital professionals. Participants will receive unparalleled access to knowledge and skills imparted by some of the world's leading venture capitalists. Through this immersive experience, aspiring venture capital investment analysts will be equipped with the essential tools and insights needed to excel in the dynamic field of venture capital.

The programme includes practical, on-the-job training with esteemed local VC firms. This hands-on experience allows participants to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings, enhancing their learning and making them more attractive to future employers.
This on-the-job training is an invaluable opportunity for aspiring venture capitalists to apply their learned skills in practical settings, further preparing them for successful careers in the venture capital sector. The on-the-job training timeline will commence from 16 August - 15 November 2024 (in partnership with Malaysian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association - MVCA)
Upon completing the 8-week KapitalX³ Junior VC Talent Programme, selected participants will have the exclusive opportunity to undergo on-the-job training with our partner venture capital (VC) firms. This unique phase of the programme allows participants to work alongside experienced venture capitalists, gaining hands-on experience with the day-to-day tasks and responsibilities of a VC investment analyst.
Not all participants will enter this phase; selections will be made on a case-by-case basis, ensuring those who proceed can significantly benefit from this experience.
Selected participants will immerse themselves in the real-world environment of venture capital, enhancing their learning and understanding of the industry.

The programme fee is RM 499. Taylor's University will fully waive the programme fee if you are Taylor's University current student or alumni.
Yes it is. Participants are required to attend the classes at the Taylor's University Lakeside campus every Saturday from 9AM - 1PM.
The classes are from 4th May 2024 - 22nd June 2024. The On-The-Job training will commence from August 2024 - November 2024.
No, this programme is open to both local and international participant.
While there are no strict prerequisites, a keen interest in venture capital and entrepreneurship, as well as a basic understanding of the startup ecosystem, will be beneficial.
