OVERVIEW

Technopreneurship programme is an innovative initiative designed to foster the development of visionary minds and empower aspiring entrepreneurs in the realm of technology. Supported by a cutting-edge business incubator called BizPod, this programme is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of trailblazers who aspire to create the next unicorn.

Through a fusion of theoretical knowledge and practical application, this programme aims to ignite entrepreneurial spirit, empowering individuals to transform ideas into impactful ventures within the dynamic landscape of technology-driven innovation.

PROGRAMME JOURNEY

Technopreneurship connects product development with the work of starting a business. You identify a real problem, speak to potential users, test your assumptions, build a solution and learn whether people want it. Along the way, you develop the technical, commercial and communication skills needed to take an idea beyond the classroom.

Bridge line: You do not need to have every answer at the beginning. You do need to be ready to investigate the problem, act on feedback and keep improving.

Business Coaching and Academic Supervision

Work through customer discovery, product priorities, technical decisions and venture challenges with support from BizPod coaches and academic supervisors.

Practical Workshops

Learn skills you can apply to your own venture, such as business modelling, branding, landing pages, lead generation, financial planning and pitching. Workshop topics may vary by intake.

Founder and Industry Conversations

Meet entrepreneurs and industry practitioners, hear how they handled real decisions and ask questions relevant to your own project. Industry visits may be included when scheduled for your intake.

Feedback and Showcase Opportunities

Use coaching sessions, product demonstrations and showcase events to explain your decisions, receive feedback and practise presenting the venture to others.

Connect with other student founders and explore BizPod activities and incubation support as your venture develops.
