For Abstract Content

  • Abstracts must be written in English and should not exceed 250 words.
  • Submissions must be made via the conference portal in Microsoft Word format.
  • Each presenter may submit only one abstract.
  • Abstracts should be text only, without graphics or references, and include up to five keywords.
  • All submissions must be carefully reviewed for spelling, grammar, and scientific accuracy prior to submission.
  • No amendments will be accepted after submission.

  • Presenters will be invited to submit a full paper.
  • Presenters are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions and ensuring the originality of their work.
  • All co-authors must provide consent to the content prior to submission.
  • Submitters will be notified of the acceptance outcome.
  • All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with an ISBN.
  • Selected high-quality papers may be invited for submission to the following journals, subject to each journal’s editorial and peer-review requirements:
    • PERTANIKA Journal of Social Science and Humanities (Scopus-indexed, Q1 and Q2)
    • International Journal of Psychology (Scopus-indexed, Q1)
    • Current Psychology (Scopus-indexed, Q1)

All submitted abstracts will first undergo a preliminary review. During submission, authors may indicate their preferred presentation format, either poster or oral presentation, for the conference.

 

Authors of high-quality and relevant abstracts will be invited to submit full papers. These manuscripts will then undergo a further review process to assess their scope, originality, and methodological rigour.

 

Selected outstanding papers may subsequently be invited for submission to Pertanika Journal of Social Science and Humanities (Scopus-indexed, Q1/Q2), International Journal of Psychology (Scopus-indexed, Q1), Current Psychology (Scopus-indexed, Q1), PLOS Mental Health (non-indexed), The Malaysian Journal of Psychology (MyCite), or the Asia-Pacific Journal of Futures in Education and Society (non-indexed), subject to each journal’s editorial policies and peer-review processes.

The Asia Pacific Conference on Psychology and Counselling 2026 (APCPC 2026) will publish all accepted submissions in the official conference proceedings with an ISBN. In addition, selected high-quality papers may be invited for submission to Pertanika Journal of Social Science and Humanities (Scopus-indexed, Q1/Q2), Current Psychology (Scopus-indexed, Q1), or PLOS Mental Health (non-indexed), subject to each journal’s editorial scope and peer-review requirements.
