What happens next?

What happens next?

Your application will be reviewed by:

  • The Office of Admissions (to verify your eligibility based on entry requirements)
  • The accepting School (to assess transferable modules)

Processing time for credit transfer applications is typically seven (7) to ten (10) working days. Campus Central will notify you of the outcome and any transferred modules or fees. Make sure you check your Taylor's email.

  • A RM200 administrative fee applies, except for new students applying during their first semester. An additional 6% SST will be charged for international students. Please ensure all outstanding fees from your current programme are settled before the transfer can be processed.

Implication on Scholarships and Financial Aid :

  • Scholarship / Bursary : These may be terminated upon transferring to a new programme. Reapplication is subject to availability.
  • PTPTN Loan : Starting from 2025, PTPTN is only available for students in the April and September intakes. If you enrol in the February intake, you will not be eligible. If you're planning to change your programme, please keep this in mind — you will need to cancel your current loan and reapply. For example, if you originally joined the September intake but later transfer to a February intake, you will lose your PTPTN eligibility.

Implication on Grading :

  • If you transfer after your current semester has started, and the transfer is approved after Week 2, your enrolled modules will be marked as 'WD' (Withdrawn) on your transcript.

Your fees may vary depending on when you apply for the transfer. Below is a breakdown of how different fees are treated during various points of the semester.
