If you ever face a medical emergency, we want you to feel prepared and supported. This step-by-step guide walks you through the process of visiting a panel hospital — from arrival and verification to treatment and discharge. Follow these simple steps to ensure your care is smooth, timely, and worry-free.

1

Upon arrival at the Panel Hospital (PH), present your Medical Insurance Card or Passport Number at the admission counter for verification in the e-MAS© Sihatku system.

2

You will need to complete the Pre-Authorisation Form (PAF). The Panel Hospital will then submit the completed form to e-MAS© Sihatku via email or fax.

3

Once the Panel Hospital submits your completed PAF, e-MAS© Sihatku will review and validate the details. After verification and approval, an initial Guarantee Letter (GL) will be issued to the hospital if the treatment is covered under your insurance plan. If it is not covered, you will need to make the payment yourself.

4

You will proceed with your treatment and consultation as guided by the hospital’s medical team.

5

Upon discharge, a final Guarantee Letter (GL) will be issued to the hospital. Any non-payable items incurred during your stay will need to be settled by you.
