OVERVIEW


The Law degree offered by School of Law and Governance (SLG) provides you with an in-depth understanding and appreciation of legal doctrines and concepts in various areas of law. Through a combination of theoretical studies and practical exposure, you will learn how to apply these principles to a variety of factual situations.

 

At SLG, we ensure that our Bachelor of Laws (Honours) programme is recognised by the Legal Profession Qualifying Board, Malaysia. This recognition signifies the high quality and relevance of our curriculum to the legal profession.

 

Throughout your studies, you will delve into key areas of law, including contract law, criminal law, constitutional law, property law, and more. Flexible Education

The Flexible Education component offers students the flexibility to explore modules in a related or unrelated field, enhancing and complementing their primary major. Pass SPM / O-Level or equivalent with 5 credits (including English) for entry with pre-university / foundation qualification (Except for UEC)

 

SPM / O-Level with Diploma Qualification

Pass SPM / O-Level or equivalent with 3 credits (including English) for entry with Diploma qualification.

Prerequisite for CLP

Students who wish to pursue the CLP Examinations, will be required to show 5 credits in SPM/ equivalent in one (1) sitting, prior to joining the programme

A Pass in UEC with min 5Bs including English, with Max. of 20 points. For entry with UEC, the SPM prerequisites of 5 credits in one (1) sitting (prior to joining the programme), must be satisfied for students’ who wish to sit for CLP Exam. Candidates without a Grade ‘B’ in UEC English may be admitted if the candidate has a credit in English at SPM or equivalent
