As a student, you can now enroll in the Bachelor of Performing Arts programme, offered by our dynamic School of Liberal Arts & Sciences, and be a part of this innovative venture.

Bachelor of Performing Arts degree offers three exciting specializations for students passionate about the arts; whether you aspire to be an unforgettable performer, a skilled musician, or a captivating dancer, the program provides comprehensive training and opportunities to develop your talents to their fullest potential.

 

Performance Specialisation: This track is your gateway to a world of storytelling and expression, equipping you with the tools to bring characters to life. Dive into the art of devising performance texts, master the nuances of voice and speech, and let your body speak through movement. Through our acting modules, you'll also refine your skills to captivate any audience.

 

Music Specialisation: Perfect your language and diction, and learn the art of movement and stagecraft to become a versatile musician. Develop your ear and musicianship skills, and dive deep into vocal studies. Your talent is your instrument, so you will explore a rich repertoire of songs and scenes while honing your craft.

 

Dance Specialisation: Step into a world of movement and rhythm. Embrace the grace of Ballet, the expressive flair of Contemporary Dance, the vibrant energy of Hip Hop and Jazz Dance, and even the rich traditions of Silat and Malaysian Traditional Dance. Dance isn't just an art; it's a language of the soul, and this track guides you to become fluent.

A pass in SPM / O-Level or equivalent with 5Bs each in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or Additional Mathematics and another subject.

 

The SPM requirements will only be applicable to: Diploma in Science / Pharmacy / Matriculation in Science / Pre-Medical studies or Pre-Pharmacy / Foundation in Science

 

All Malaysian students are required to attain a Pass in Bahasa Melayu and English in SPM / O-Level / UEC / IGCSE or equivalent

With 30 years' experience as a multi award-winning show producer and presenter, venue designer, operator and respected arts educator, The Actors Studio has a solid track record in arts education, corporate training & arts outreach / therapy.

 

Seven venues on, hundreds of award-winning productions later, The Actors Studio's expertise remains unrivaled. It has presented almost 600 productions and over a million people have passed through the doors of its theatres.
