COURSES

360 VIDEO STORYTELLING

SYNOPSIS

This MicroCreds course introduces the immersive perspective of 360 video storytelling, and its experimental features. Through demonstrations, learners will learn 360-video story content development workflow, and the potential of 360 videos in Virtual Reality (VR). Learners will be assessed formatively with online submissions of work-in-progress documentation and receive direct feedback from the instructor. At the end of the course, learners are required to submit a project to completion.

Mr Martin Chong is affiliated with The Design School, Taylors University since 2011. Excel in production practice, he has designed several module’s projects engaged with film festivals and competitions such as:

• 2017- Today’s Special, Kl Eco film festival Best Young Director

• 2017- Komugi , Malaysia Web series shortlisted

 

UX STARTER KIT

SYNOPSIS

This MicroCreds course introduces the fundamentals and processes of UX (user experience) designs in creating personas, user flows and mental models. Learners will be guided through the building blocks of the entire UX design process from conceptualisation, prototyping to user testing and familiarised with the tools required in the building process. Learners will also navigate the ins and outs of information architecture by building wireframes and prototypes, and testing the designs with real audiences. At the end of the course, learners are required to submit a project to completion.

COURSE INSTRUCTOR

Mr Mohd Azrizal Razali is a lecturer and a certified Train the Trainer at The Design School, Taylor’s University. He has 15 years of experience in teaching various creative and graphic design modules. His key strengths are in branding, creative strategy as well as industry relations and collaborations.
