The Bachelor of Biotechnology is designed to provide comprehensive education and training in biotechnology focusing on three core areas, namely agriculture, medical and industrial biotechnology discipline areas

In addition to the hands-on practical sessions, students will be exposed to a progressive curriculum comprising of scientific principles and knowledge in molecular cloning,  genome editing,  cell tissue culture techniques,  bioinformatics analysis,  bioprocessing technologies,  techniques and instrumentations in research and development, as well as  business and entrepreneurship skills.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

Students will be exposed to scientific principles and knowledge, bioinformation technologies, laboratory techniques in research development, business and entreprenuership skills, as well as legal, intellectual, social and ethical issues.

This programme is compatible with the new Taylor's Curriculum Framework that allows students to mix & match study modules.

This component consists of Common Core subjects, which are common modules across a discipline that provides the fundamental knowledge of the discipline.
