What began as a typical academic workshop soon took on a more spirited, tactile rhythm – one that invited curiosity, loosened the shoulders, and nudged even the most seasoned lecturers into a childlike sense of exploration. This was no ordinary professional development session. This was the LEGO® Serious Play® (LSP) Methodology for Academics, and by the end of the day, it would reshape how participants thought about teaching, learning, and themselves.
Led by certified facilitator Jessica Low, the workshop began with an invitation: to connect hands, mind, and heart through colourful LEGO bricks and a series of progressively deeper questions. Their task was simple, yet beautifully challenging: build what they think, feel, and aspire toward.
