Taylor's School of Engineering is the first in Southeast Asia to adopt the CDIO™ Initiative and register with the Grand Challenge Scholars Program (GSCP), enabling us to apply these approaches to create engineers who are able to meet the real-world demands of their profession and provide solutions for the betterment of humankind.

Our programmes are globally recognised, with the Electrical & Electronic Engineering programme ranked among the top 400 in the world, Engineering & Technology in the top 450, and Mechanical Engineering in the top 600 (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025). The extraordinary calibre of our engineering programmes has created an exceptional demand from ambitious students across the region, with applications exceeding available spots each semester.

Through project-based learning, we encourage our engineering school students to explore their passion in their chosen areas of specialisation and work on actual projects that are in line with the Grand Challenges throughout their duration of study in the engineering programmes. Joining an exclusive circle of peers, you will be part of a problem-solving cohort whose innovations address critical global issues from sustainable energy to healthcare accessibility, making impacts that extend far beyond conventional engineering boundaries.
