Effective 1 July 2025, a 6% Service Tax will be imposed on non-Malaysian citizens, applicable to all fees and charges, except International Security Deposit and EMGS application fees. Fees shown in the Fee Schedule are exclusive of the 6% Service Tax. The Service Tax rate and taxable fee components are subject to change as determined by government regulations.
As you progress through the Master of Education programme, you will have the opportunity to specialise in specific areas of education that align with your research interests and career goals. Our flexible curriculum allows you to tailor your studies, selecting modules and electives that resonate with your research focus. You will be guided by experienced faculty members who are experts in their respective fields, providing mentorship and support as you navigate your research journey.

Year 1
As Associate Professor in the School of Education and Programme Director for Postgraduate Research Programmes, Dr Jasmine has worked in higher education since 2010, with experience in teaching, research, academic leadership, and postgraduate supervision. Her work focuses on science education, science literacy, the Nature of Science, and research methodology.
Holding a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia, she specialises in Educational Psychology, Science Curriculum, and Science Education. Her research explores science literacy, pedagogical content knowledge, culturally responsive education, and inclusive access to scientific understanding.
Dr Jasmine is particularly committed to advancing science literacy in ways that are culturally responsive, ethically grounded, and future-oriented, ensuring learners are not only knowledgeable, but also critically engaged citizens. Her teaching and programme design are shaped through engagements with national agencies, professional bodies, and regional organisations.
As a Panel of Assessor for the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), Dr Jasmine contributes to programme evaluation and policy developments such as APEL pathways. She also collaborated with SEAMEO regional centres and delivered professional development programmes for educators across Malaysia and the ASEAN region. Her contributions have been recognised through awards and appointments in pedagogical innovation, transformative teaching, and postgraduate supervision, including recognition by the UK Council of Graduate Education..
Dr Jasmine hopes students graduate with strong research literacy, professional integrity, and the confidence to contribute meaningfully to educational reform, inclusive practice, and their wider communities.
