The Master of Education programme at Taylor's School of Education is tailored for students interested in advanced educational studies, with a specific focus on educational practice, administration, and policy.

 

As part of this impactful programme, you’ll undertake an in-depth exploration into current research as well as the latest developments in educational administration and policy, critically analysing and evaluating educational frameworks, while pursuing specialised areas aligned with your interests. With limited seats available each intake, you will benefit from dedicated guidance, in-depth research support, and opportunities to make a tangible difference in the field.

Pre-Requisites

  1. Bachelor’s degree in education field (Level 6, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or its equivalent as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
  2. Bachelor’s degree in education field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; OR
  3. Bachelor’s degree in education field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, can be accepted subject to a minimum of THREE years working experience in the education field and rigorous internal assessment; OR
  4. Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 must undergo prerequisite courses; OR
  5. Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment AND must undergo prerequisite courses; OR
  6. Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, can be accepted subject to a minimum of THREE years working experience in the education field and rigorous internal assessment AND must undergo prerequisite courses; OR
  7. Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by Malaysian government as equivalent to the above requirements. 

 

International Student

IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 60 (Internet Based Test) (May join IEN preparatory course and achieve the IELTS score) The validity of the IELTS or equivalent is within 2 years from the date of the examination

  1. Students without a qualification in the related fields or relevant working experience requires to undergo and pass a bridging module.
