Eradicating Poverty Impact Lab is a collaborative team of diverse groups of academic experts, dedicated students and industry partners committed to ending poverty through empowerment of individuals, especially those from the marginalised and vulnerable sectors.

Our transdisciplinary approach involves research, education and practical collaboration with the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, School of Management and Marketing under Taylor's Business School, and School of Media and Communication.

ABOUT US

Enable the absolute and hardcore poor (family income < RM 1104) to meet their basic needs to lead a life of dignity
Enable B40 communities (income RM2500 - 5000) to reach M40 status through initiatives that provide the necessary skills, knowledge, and platforms

Provide opportunities to reduce inequalities, build resilience and help specific target groups to step out of the cycle of poverty
Create safety nets for communities to keep them from slipping back into poverty after periods of prosperity
