A Mini Accelerator Programme where students work in teams to design a solution for a specific challenge (Travel Tech Edition) through a creative problem-solving process. What is the BizPod Mini Accelerator Programme?

It is a 7-week programme (Class every Friday) where Taylor's University students work in teams to create solutions for a specific challenge within the Travel Tech sector.

Who can participate in the MAP?

The programme is open to all students of Taylor's University, across any degree programme and alumni (there will be a selection process).

Do I need to have a team to join the MAP?

You can join individually or with a team. If you don't have a team, we will assist in team formation during the orientation.

What will I learn in the MAP?

Participants will learn about market analysis, business strategy, prototyping, pitching, and more, guided by industry experts.

Is there any fee to join the MAP?

There is a RM100 refundable deposit, should you be selected for MAP. This is to ensure a level of commitment towards the programme. The RM100 will be returned in the last week of the programme.

Are there any prizes or awards?

Yes, there is a seed funding of up to RM 6,000 and certification of completion will also be given to students who successfully complete the seven weeks programme.

Are there refreshment provided?

Yes refreshments will be provided for the participating students

What can I do if I have a lecture during the programme period?

We will provide an exemption letter to the selected students. However, it is subject to approval from your lecturers.
