Notes

  • Students are expected to complete 10 modules (8 core modules including 2 project modules and 1 electives) which will equal to 40 credits.  
  • Students are allowed to enrol for a maximum of 20 credits in the long semester and a maximum of 10 credits in the short semester. However, a student must complete a minimum study period of one year for this programme. 

This programme is for individuals and educators who want to differentiate themselves with a postgraduate qualification and level up with essential expertise for digitally enriched 21st century teaching.

Fulfilling one of the requirements listed below:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in the field or related fields with a CGPA above 2.50, recognised by the Malaysian or National Government; OR
  2. A Bachelor's degree in the field or related field not meeting CGPA of 2.50, recognised by the Malaysian or National Government, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in related field; OR
  3. Any other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government.
  4. Application via APEL A is allowed.

 

Students without a related degree but with relevant working experience requires to fulfil the following conditions:

  • CGPA above 2.50 must have at least one (1) year of relevant working experience; or
  • CGPA 2.00 to 2.50 must have at least five (5) years of relevant working experience;

In addition, students will need to undergo a rigorous internal assessment

 

 

For International Students:

  • English Requirement: IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 60 (Internet Based Test) (May join IEN preparatory course and achieve the IELTS score)

Yes, transfers are available and subject to credit transfer requirements. Thus, it is advisable to complete the 7 weeks module you are enrolled in before requesting for transfer.

The programme term is 8 weeks long, including 1 week of induction to be briefed on the module you are about to take, 6 learning weeks and 1 week for the preparation of the final assessment and a summary of the learning throughout the module.

Students are assessed through the completion of several assignments. A module commonly includes three assessments that can be completed at home and uploaded on the learning platform by the submission date.
