The Master of Clinical Psychology programme is a two-year programme designed to meet the needs of those who are passionate in pursuing a specialised profession in Clinical Psychology and are committed in improving the well-being of individuals with psychological disorders. The programme aims to produce professional, qualified, and competent clinical psychologists in the areas of expertise of diagnosis, psychological assessment, psychotherapy, intervention, clinical research, and preventions of mental health issues.
This programme complies to the standard and requirement of the Malaysia’s Allied Health Professions Act 2016 and the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (MSCP).

research and practical training
The programme is designed to have enough credit hours (19 credits) to cover a minimum of 1500 clinical practicum hours as set by MSCP.
Well set-up facilities and access to various psychological assessment tools for internal clinical practicum.
Graduates can work as a Scientist (researcher or academician) or Practitioner (Clinical Psychologist) through the teaching from experienced academic and industrial experts.
Students conduct clinical research in an in-house clinical research lab equipped with cutting-edge technology (e.g. emotional micro-tracking, eye tracking machine and 360-degree video recording).
The programme's thorough syllabus focuses on preparing you with the skills, knowledge, attitude, and mindset necessary for a fulfilling career in Clinical Psychology.
Entry Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and its equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00; Note: A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology not meeting CGPA 2.75 (but not lower than 2.50) can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment (knowledge-based interview) by an independent review panel; OR
A Bachelor's Degree in the field or related fields with minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00 in any field, AND a minimum 45 credits of prerequisites modules in Psychology or its equivalent (covering all eight Knowledge Areas highlighted in page 13-14 of MQA Programme Standards: Psychology) with a minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00 in the prerequisites modules; OR
A Bachelor's Degree in the field or related fields with minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00 in any field, AND a minimum 30 credits of prerequisites modules in Psychology or its equivalent (covering all eight Knowledge Areas highlighted in page 13-14 of MQA Programme Standards: Psychology)with a minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00 in the prerequisites modules, AND a Graduate Record Examination (GRE) Subject Test (Psychology) with a minimum score of 550; OR
