ABOUT US

Through collective efforts hinged on the convergence of research, pedagogy and advocacy, this Impact Lab embodies an interdisciplinary collaboration of academics with varied expertise, practitioners, industry partners, NGOs and students with a common goal of developing accessible and affordable healthcare solutions for all segments. Our hubs specialising in digital healthcare, health data analytics, communicable and non-communicable diseases, maternal and child health, and palliative care aim to:

  • Reduce healthcare costs and improve inefficient healthcare delivery services and processes via development and enhancement of digital platforms
  • Improve healthcare access and quality of care to underserved segments through digital applications and IoT devices
  • Promote applied research in the areas of early diagnosis, epidemiology, treatment and prevention of common diseases
  • Reduce mortality rates of communicable and non-communicable diseases via advancements in medical interventions, procedures and therapies
  • Reduce preventable deaths in newborns and early childhood and circumvent maternal-related health issues
  • Improve accessibility to quality palliative care for terminally ill patients

Our transdisciplinary approach encompasses a blend of research, education, and hands-on collaboration. We actively engage with the expertise of the following schools to foster innovation and cross-disciplinary synergy:
