Global Volunteer (GV) offers young individuals the chance to cultivate essential leadership qualities, such as self-awareness, solution orientation, empowering others, and global citizenship, through cross-cultural volunteering experiences.
These projects are part of AIESEC's commitment to achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, aiming to create a positive impact in communities worldwide. Each project is available in various locations and is coordinated by AIESEC national and local offices.
In this program, young volunteers work on social impact projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, gaining cross-cultural experience and making a significant impact. This journey isn't just 6 weeks; it's a transformative life experience in 6 weeks.

Various countries provide different timelines for the program. For Taylor University students, the optimal timeframe would be from December to February and (aiesec.org) offers over ten countries to choose from. Volunteers will be required to work on weekdays, and the specific working hours will vary, but this information will be communicated prior to the application process.
The choice ultimately depends on the volunteer's preference. AIESEC in Malaysia offers the countries listed in the section below, but volunteers have the flexibility to explore additional options on the official website.
This program comprises various projects from different countries, and as a result, there is no specific event agenda in place until students have determined which country they intend to visit. Please refer to the official website for more details.
