Organised under the auspices of the Qigong Management Centre of the General Administration of Sport of China, the 2023 China-ASEAN Health Qigong Training Camp was an initiative consisting of a harmonious blend of online and on ground activities, meticulously curated and executed by the China-ASEAN Fitness Qigong Association.
Supported by the Malaysian Health Qigong Association, the event was graced by Yang Berhormat Tuan Wong Chen, Member of Parliament for Subang. Also in attendance were Associate Professor Dr Anthony Ho Siong Hock, Taylor’s University Pro Vice-Chancellor - Research & Enterprise, Tan Leong Teck, Chairman of Malaysian Health Qigong Association, and Wang Yi, Office Director, Health Qigong Administrative Centre of General Administration of Sport of China.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, YB Tuan Wong Chen expressed his commendation saying, “Today’s ceremony demonstrates how Qigong can act as a bridge for cultural connections at a regional level. It is through initiatives like these that we create a more connected and understanding world, fostering a more harmonious global community. I would like to congratulate the organisers for the success of this event and Taylor’s University for their commitment in championing international relations and multicultural diversity through such unique initiatives.”
