OVERVIEW

At Taylor's University, our law students benefit from a comprehensive education that covers both Malaysian Law and the Law of England and Wales. Through our dual jurisdiction programme, students develop a strong understanding of both legal systems, preparing them for the global and liberalised legal profession in Malaysia.

In addition to academic learning, School of Law and Governance (SLG) organises a range of activities and events that promote international exchange and foster a deeper understanding of global issues. By participating in these activities, our students become globally-aware lawyers who are well-equipped to excel on a global platform. We believe in providing our students with a holistic education that goes beyond the classroom, preparing them for a successful and impactful legal career.

OVERSEAS STUDY TRIPS

Our overseas study trips not only educate the students about foreign laws and legal systems, but also provide them with an opportunity to appreciate the differences between foreign and Malaysian legal institutions.

The Malaysian Law Summer Course provides an avenue for foreign students to observe and understand the Malaysian legal system, which also includes an internship placement at a local legal firm.
