You're eligible to apply for a module overload if you meet either of the following:

Scenario 1

 

 You have a minimum CGPA/WCGPA of 2.67 and fall into one of these situations:

  • You've experienced serious and unavoidable circumstances (e.g. illness, accident, or hospitalisation).
  • You need to take extra credits to graduate on time.
  • You're approaching the maximum study duration for your programme.
  • You must complete all compulsory modules before starting your internship or work-based learning.

Scenario 2

 

You have a CGPA/WCGPA of 3.80 or above at the time of application — no additional circumstances required.

Unsure when can you apply? It's best to submit your overload study application by the end of Week 1. This gives enough time for review and approval before classes are in full swing.
