As Head of the School of Education, Dr Logendra brings over 31 years of teaching experience, with a strong commitment to helping students understand the deeper purpose of education and learning. With a PhD in Education specialising in Mathematics Education, he has extensive experience in mathematics education, curriculum development, and problem-solving approaches. 

Drawing from over 10 years of teaching experience across international schools of different segments, he brings practical educational perspectives into programme design and classroom teaching, ensuring learning remains relevant, adaptive, and student-centred.

Dr Logendra believes education is not simply about “filling the cup with water,” but about helping students discover the nature of the cup itself, encouraging them to better understand their own potential, purpose, and direction in life.

As Programme Director of the Bachelor of Education programme, Dr Mindy has been a teacher educator since 2015, working closely with students to develop both the knowledge and values needed to shape future learning environments. 

With a PhD in Education specialising in teacher education, she is particularly experienced in teacher education, mathematics education, reflective practice, and problem-based learning. Her teaching approach places strong emphasis on meaningful learning, empathy, and real-world application.

Drawing from collaborations with refugee learning centres and organisations supporting learners with disabilities, Dr Mindy brings practical and socially grounded perspectives into programme design and teaching. The projects include mathematics literacy initiatives for underperforming students, STEM literacy programmes for refugee learning centres, and curriculum development work for out-of-school children.

She has also received various awards and recognitions in teaching, curriculum innovation, and educational research, including Platinum, Gold, and Silver awards at national and international education competitions, alongside recognition from institutions such as Universiti Malaya, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and the Ministry of Higher Education.

Dr Mindy hopes students leave the programme with not only a stronger understanding of education, but also a genuine love for teaching, a passion for lifelong learning, and a deep sense of compassion for children.

As Programme Director and Senior Lecturer, Dr Tan has spent the past decade in the field of education, helping students develop a deeper understanding of teaching, learning, and the evolving role of education in society. 

Holding a Doctor of Philosophy (Education) specialising in Curriculum and Instruction, alongside a Bachelor of Education (TESL) with a minor in English Literature, she brings expertise in teacher education, English education, classroom discourse and interaction, reflective learning, and technology in education.

Drawing from projects involving curriculum development for out-of-school children and youth at Yayasan Chow Kit, collaborations with international schools on teaching practicum preparedness, and training initiatives in areas such as virtual reality classrooms and AI in teaching and learning, Dr Tan brings contemporary and real-world educational perspectives into programme design and classroom teaching.

She has also received various recognitions in teaching and educational innovation, including Gold Awards and Gold Medals at national and international competitions such as IUCEL, iTaLiiC, and IINNCOME, alongside recognition through the Exemplary Meritorious Academic Staff (EMAS) Award.

Above all, Dr Tan believes education should cultivate a continuous spirit of discovery, guiding students towards more thoughtful, purposeful, and ethical growth in both research and practice.

As Senior Lecturer and Programme Director, Ms Hema has spent the past 13 years in academia, leading postgraduate programmes and initiatives that connect teaching, research, and community impact. 

Currently completing a PhD at the University of Cambridge and holding a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford in Comparative and International Education, Ms Hema focuses on education development, literacy, educational equity, and teacher development, particularly within underserved and alternative education contexts.

She also founded Projek BacaBaca, a research-informed reading intervention, and The Night School Project, which focuses on teacher development in refugee learning centres. Through collaborations with alternative learning centres, international schools, and partners across the education ecosystem, these experiences continue to shape how curriculum and learning are designed to remain grounded in real-world practice and impact.

Her work has also recognised through awards and honours such as the Gold Medal at the International University Carnival on E-Learning (IUCEL) 2023, the Malaysia Grand Invention Expo 2024 Gold Award, and international recognitions including the Triple E Awards and QS Reimagine Education Awards.

Ms Hema believes education carries real responsibility beyond delivering content. She hope students leave as reflective practitioners who can think critically, act with intention, and contribute meaningfully to their communities and the wider world.

As Associate Professor in the School of Education and Programme Director for Postgraduate Research Programmes, Dr Jasmine has worked in higher education since 2010, with experience in teaching, research, academic leadership, and postgraduate supervision. Her work focuses on science education, science literacy, the Nature of Science, and research methodology.

Holding a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia, she specialises in Educational Psychology, Science Curriculum, and Science Education. Her research explores science literacy, pedagogical content knowledge, culturally responsive education, and inclusive access to scientific understanding.

Dr Jasmine is particularly committed to advancing science literacy in ways that are culturally responsive, ethically grounded, and future-oriented, ensuring learners are not only knowledgeable, but also critically engaged citizens. Her teaching and programme design are shaped through engagements with national agencies, professional bodies, and regional organisations. 

As a Panel of Assessor for the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), Dr Jasmine contributes to programme evaluation and policy developments such as APEL pathways. She also collaborated with SEAMEO regional centres and delivered professional development programmes for educators across Malaysia and the ASEAN region. Her contributions have been recognised through awards and appointments in pedagogical innovation, transformative teaching, and postgraduate supervision, including recognition by the UK Council of Graduate Education..

Dr Jasmine hopes students graduate with strong research literacy, professional integrity, and the confidence to contribute meaningfully to educational reform, inclusive practice, and their wider communities.
